Questions employers ask before sending a brief
What should I include in the brief?
The job title, where the role is based and how often people are in the office, whether it is permanent or contract, a salary or rate range, and a few lines on the team and the must-have skills. If you have a job description, attach it and we will take the rest from there.
Does it cost anything to send a vacancy?
No. There is no fee to brief us, no retainer and no charge for the shortlist. On permanent roles you pay a fee only when someone you hire through us starts.
How quickly will I see candidates?
A consultant calls you within one working day of receiving the brief to agree timescales. Contract roles usually move within days; permanent shortlists depend on how niche the skills are, and we will tell you honestly what to expect on the first call.
Do you recruit contract and interim as well as permanent?
Yes. We place permanent, contract and interim technology professionals, and we are FCSA-accredited for compliant contractor engagement.
Which roles and technologies do you cover?
Software engineering, cloud and DevOps, data and AI, cyber security, infrastructure and networking, architecture, project and programme management, business analysis, product specialists and IT leadership, from mid-level to executive. Most of our work is in financial services, consultancies, SaaS and the public sector.

Across the UK. We are headquartered in Hampshire with consultants in London, the South West and the North, and we regularly fill roles in other regions and overseas for UK clients.
What happens to the details I send?
