Who can apply
The fee-free place is open to UK registered charities and non-profit organisations recruiting for a permanent IT or technology role. That could be anything from IT support and infrastructure to data, CRM, digital or cyber security, whether you have a dedicated IT team or a single technical post.

What a fee-free place is worth to your charity
Recruitment fees for permanent roles are usually a percentage of the first year's salary. Here's what that means on a typical IT hire.

Fee-free placement FAQs
Is it really free?
Yes. For the organisation that takes the month's place, there's no placement fee and nothing to pay when your new starter joins. Registering your interest doesn't commit you to anything.
Who counts as a non-profit?
The place is open to UK registered charities and non-profit organisations. If you're not sure whether your organisation qualifies, register anyway and we'll talk it through with you.
How is the place allocated?
First come, first served. The first eligible organisation to register in a month takes that month's place.
What if this month's place has gone?
You can register for the following month's place. If the role can't wait that long, we can recruit it straight away at a reduced charity rate.
Which roles are included?
Permanent IT and technology roles. Contract and interim roles aren't covered by the fee-free place, though we're happy to talk about them.
What will you need from us?
A job description if you have one, the salary range, and time for a briefing call so we understand the role, the team and your organisation. After that, timely interview feedback helps us keep the best candidates interested.
