Where we are
Deerfoot is headquartered in Hampshire and has recruited technology professionals for employers across the UK since 1997. We had offices in Southampton and Central London until 2020. Since then the team has worked remotely, which has let us hire consultants where the clients and candidates are rather than where the lease is.
Today our team is based predominantly in Hampshire, with consultants covering different parts of the UK and local numbers for Hampshire, London, Bristol and Manchester.
Being local has never been what fills a role. Most candidates keep their profiles on the national job boards and LinkedIn, and we hold licences for the leading CV databases and LinkedIn Recruiter, so a search for a Java developer in Leeds runs the same way as one in Southampton.
The proof is in the accounts. For one of the world’s twenty largest financial groups we became the number one technology recruitment partner, and we were the only agency on their list without an office nearby.

Who do I contact about a technology vacancy?
Use the Submit a vacancy form and it goes straight to the consultant who covers your area of tech and to our director. If you would rather talk first, call 023 8081 3001 and ask for the team that handles your sector.
How quickly does Deerfoot respond?
Within one working day for employers and contractors, and usually the same day during office hours. Candidates who register a CV hear from us when a role matches, and we do not pass CVs to employers without speaking to you first.
Does Deerfoot have an office I can visit?
Not a walk-in one. We have worked remotely since 2020, with a team based predominantly in Hampshire and consultants covering different parts of the UK. Our registered office is in Camberley, Surrey. We are happy to meet at your premises or by video call.

I am a contractor placed through Deerfoot. Where do I submit timesheets?
Through the timesheet portal. For queries about your contract, rate or payment, call your consultant or email hello@deerfoot.co.uk. Deerfoot is an FCSA Recruiter Partner, so contractors are engaged compliantly.
Can I ask for a salary or day-rate benchmark without a vacancy?
Yes. Use the form on this page and tell us the role and location. We benchmark against current placements and market data, and there is no charge.
What happens to the information I send?
It is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not shared outside Deerfoot. We are ISO 9001 certified and Cyber Essentials accredited, and our privacy policy sets out how long we keep data and how to ask us to delete it.
