Community

Since 2013, Deerfoot has donated £70,161.50 to charities.

We've donated £37,143 to the Born Free Foundation. As an official fundraising partner, we donate £1 for every candidate CV we forward to our clients. Born Free works to protect wild animals, end cruel captivity, and safeguard threatened habitats, helping to address both animal suffering and the impacts of biodiversity loss and climate change. This partnership reflects our belief that defending wildlife and wild places is essential to a more compassionate, climate‑resilient future.

We’ve also donated £19,600 to Compassion in World Farming via monthly direct debit, supporting their work to end factory farming and transform our food system for animals, people, and the planet. Their campaigns highlight how intensive animal agriculture drives climate change and biodiversity loss, and promote eating less meat, fish, and dairy while shifting toward more plant‑rich, higher‑welfare, regenerative farming. This partnership reflects our belief that changing how and what we eat is essential to tackling the climate and nature crises.

Other charities we have supported include the Disasters Emergency Committee, WaterAid, Eden Farm Animal Sanctuary, Viva and others.

Each month, we deliver our recruitment service free of charge to help fill one IT vacancy for an organisation that we deem is providing positive change, as either a social enterprise, a non-profit or a UK registered charity.

We support Born Free.

Customers & Suppliers

Bias-Reduced Job Adverts: Part of our service to our customers is generating job advertisements that reduce bias across all protected characteristics (gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation). A result of this is a more diverse pool of candidates for our clients job vacancies.

Ethical Partnerships: As an organisation, Deerfoot is keen to support and conduct business with like-minded organisations that operate in an ethical and socially responsible manner. We do not engage with organisations operating in the life sciences (where animal testing is conducted), or livestock-related sectors or retailers/hospitality sectors where livestock is the main focus of their business.
