A well-established professional services organization in the Northampton area are looking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator to join their growing IT team.

The Technical Services Team are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to assist with and manage infrastructure projects. To assist in the day to day support for the Networks Team, to include incident and problem areas.

Skills / Environment
Microsoft Technical Stack – Exchange, SharePoint, Hyper-V, SQL Server, Lync, SCCM
Active Directory
SAN, NAS, Backup, Virtulisation, Thin client computing
Networking fundamentals
Understanding of ITIL processes (ideally certified)

Role Overview
To provide project support for server and storage solutions.
To provide 3rd line systems support.
To be the lead technologist for specified systems, assuming responsibility for the control and development of these systems.
Ensure that technical and system documentation is up to date.
Assist in the development of ITIL within the Networks team.
Have a good understanding of the systems available within the company
To work within the guidelines and procedures provided

Salary: £35k - £40k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SharePoint Developer to join an established organisation situated in Northampton.

Main responsibilities
Systems Analysis, Development and Administration
• Analyse / review current information and knowledge management assets and in consultation with key business sponsors determine future requirements
• Methodically investigate, analyse and document business requirements.
• Produce formal documentation and specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain key software components using Microsoft SharePoint Server and other related technologies in accordance with Software and Security Development Lifecycles.
• Test developed software and resolve any issues, ensuring systems operate in a reliable manner.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is created and maintained for all system developments.
• Work with Project Managers, providing accurate development estimates as requested.
• Ensure systems change management is carried out in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.
Service Management
• Administer and maintain the systems as required in accordance with the needs of the business.
• Provide technical and user support on software solutions.
• Provide a key point of liaison between the business and the IS Department, ensuring a rapid response to all problems, issues, ideas, and queries raised.
• Develop implementation plans required to deal with complex requests for change, evaluating any risks to the integrity of infrastructure associated with the change.
• Support other members of the Development team and of the IS Department as a whole.
Skills and qualifications
Role-specific knowledge and expertise
Essential
• A minimum of 2 years experience developing Microsoft SharePoint 2013 solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years business Analysis experience.
• A good understanding of CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
• Ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures and ability to analyse SQL data.
• Good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
Preferred
• Experience with the SharePoint 2013 Client-Side Object Model
• Experience with the SharePoint 2013 REST API
• Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.

As a trusted and established PSL partner to this top 100 law firm, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of an it professional to join as Integration Analyst. This role will either suit an established Integration Consultant or perhaps a Developer with some integration project experience.

Within the development department you will be responsible for the integration of disparate systems including case management systems, workflow/BPM systems and SAP using BizTalk and other integration technologies.

Biztalk experience is preferable, but SSIS is acceptable too.

Key Skills
• Experience of an integration technology (BizTalk preferable but SSIS is acceptable)
• Prior experience working with BPM/Workflow systems
• Educated to degree level
