We are seeking a talented Adobe AEM Developer to join a leading innovative digital team in a prestigious organisation. Our client offers excellence in career growth, professional development and a coveted personalised benefits package.
The successful Developer will be a key member within the team, involved in the full lifecycle of projects. you will work closely with our Delivery Leads and Solution Architects to design, shape, plan and deliver the projects.
Using a combination of software engineering experience and technology acumen, and a thorough knowledge of Adobe’s Experience Cloud product portfolio, specifically AEM Assets and Sites, articulate Adobe high-level technical design to business problems and tie the development solution to the project / programme success criteria
Key skills sought
• Knowledge and software engineer development experience across the Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, specifically AEM Assets and Sites
• In-depth understanding of the typical AEM use cases of Digital Platform implementations
• Extensive experience working in a top-tier agency, consulting or technology organisation
• In addition to having Java software engineering experience, ideally individuals should have experience in frontend and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, and VueJS
• Ability to solve problems for large projects, you’ll develop and maintain bespoke solutions for a varied client base which includes both the public and private sectors – drawing on different languages, methods and approaches
• You’ll support live systems and applications, implementing bug fixes and exploring improvements through code changes.
• You’ll take responsibility for components of a much larger system, writing code to complement that which is being developed by colleagues.
• Good communication skills – written and oral

The focus of this role will be to support clients in delivering highly available, scalable enterprise solutions on IAAS/PAAS platforms, using a blend of your technical expertise and leadership skills


The ideal candidates will be SC/DV cleared or be eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities:
As part of the platform engineering leadership group, you will be fully engaged in defining functions and business strategy, looking for new business opportunities to grow the team with your allocated client and with our market unit around new opportunities.
• Actively working with market units and multi-cloud vendor partnerships to win new work on digital IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solution strategies, designs, and delivery programmes.
• Working with clients in transforming their business by delivering solutions and methodologies following best practice.
• Identifying the best technologies and services upon consideration of the client’s needs, constraints and strategies.
• You will be expected to evangelise standards, patterns and best practices for infrastructure and system components.
• Participating in workshops, recommending solutions, presenting proposed solutions to prospective clients and contributing content to proposals.
• Growing the brand through parallel internal and external workstreams.


Key Skills:
• Solid experience in cloud and serverless technologies along with proven technical background across the software development lifecycle which resonates with a high level of DevOps maturity.
• Strong communication skills; with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Substantial business experience in delivering projects through to a successful completion.
• Academic achievements in relation to computer science, formal education and / or certifications.
• Proven leadership skills, and capable of building and managing technical and team strategy for senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience and appropriate training for team management.
