User Researcher – Digital (UX)
Worthing – Remote for now, can consider hybrid working later with Office / home split.
Salary – £60k - £75k (multiple roles at different grades) + excellent benefits package

The user research team is pivotal in bringing genuine value to this organisation’s enterprise and government clients through easy-to-use, beautifully designed software and services that meet both business and user needs. As User / UX Researcher you will work with other members of the team to make a positive impact on the quality of what our client offers, demonstrating ‘what good looks like’ for user research. Day-to-day you will also be responsible for planning, designing and carrying out research activities to support our service and product delivery activities.
Key Skills
• Experience in a similar User / UX Research position within a digital team
• Knowledge of user requirements gathering, concept and prototype testing, guerrilla research, and other approaches
• Experience in user experience UX design and design principles
• Ability to design, execution and analysis of quantitative surveys
• Ability to turn user research findings into stories and actions that lead to valuable product and service features
• -A genuine passion for portraying the perspective of users in order to solve their real challenges and ensure our products meet their needs
• -Boldness to ask the critical questions, challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the table?

We are seeking a number of Digital Scala Developer to join a leading innovative data team in a prestigious organisation. Our client offers excellence in career growth, professional development and a coveted personalised benefits package.

You'll develop software in a highly collaborative, informal environment without undue paperwork or deployment restrictions with a good work-life balance in a sociable, happy, fun atmosphere. You'll be a valued member of a multi-disciplined Agile Scrum Team, and involved in all aspects of development including service design using microservices, coding, testing and a degree of maintenance and support. Your focus will be on delivering well tested software with assistance from your team-dedicated Quality Assurance/Tester(s).

Key Skills:
• Commercial experience in programming in Scala.
• An understanding of web/agile technologies and RESTful protocols.
• Ideally, an understanding of automated web testing solutions.
• Ideally, knowledge of relational or NoSQL database systems such as Mongo.
• Use Scala, JSON, Mongo, CI tooling, one-button deploy to AWS Cloud with a DevOps mentality.
• Work from Jira tickets with defined goals & test criteria implementing RESTful microservices.
• Build and maintain digital services within an agile Kanban or Sprint environment.
• Have input on the Design, Jira tickets, priorities & test strategies as the team works as one self-managed unit without undue interference.
• Innovate, contribute, and support junior colleagues; we encourage mentoring at all levels.
• Contribute to your teams' robust automated test suite as part of our test-first principles.
• You'll be asked to technically lead pieces of work, dependant on experience.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous team & service improvement.
