M365 Architect
Work from home
Base in the region of £90k - £100k + bens

As an established and approved tech hiring partner to one of the leading global consultancies, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an Architect to focus on Microsoft 365 / and Unified Comms.

This role sits within the Cloud Infrastructure Services Business unit. Candidates with real-world experience that carry beyond mailbox migrations are sought. The ability to demonstrate understanding of how customers can maximise the value from their M365 investment.

Key duties

High-level and Detailed-level architecture design for native cloud-based MS Office 365
Service Transition: Supervise strategic partners and subcontractors to produce design, build and deploy new IT services (or service changes)
Develop road map for the organisation - Short term and long-term Plan, aligned to business requirements and goals for the organisation
Design and plan roll out of major upgrades from traditional on-premises services to MS Office 365 (Exchange, SfB, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) – native and hybrid
Advise on Office 365 License details, usage allocation and budget forecast

Skills

Large scale On-prem and cloud M365 / O365 services
Knowledge of service and account provisioning (services, processes and methods)
Ability to lead technical presentations or proposals.
Ms Exchange
Skype for Business
SharePoint
OneDrive
Teams
Intune
Identity management services (Federation and IAM Azure)
Native Cloud and Hybrid topologies
Service / Data – compliance, management and security
Understanding of End user applications and desktop clients.
Licensing management – understanding of Microsoft licensing, management and types
End User Experience (performance, functionality, end user profiling and personas)
Exposure to various versions of applications and services often found in enterprises – for example: Exchange 2013,2016,2019 and O365 Exchange Online, Lync Server, SfB 2015/2019 and Skype on-line in O365
