As a trusted hiring partner to this leading international bank for over 15 years, we have been asked to assist with the hire of a senior Operational Resilience professional to lead critical resilience, continuity, and crisis management initiatives across the UK operations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the bank’s Incident Management planning & testing programme.

Lead incident response, horizon scanning, and tabletop exercises.

Ensure resilience frameworks meet major regulatory standards (FFIEC, OCC, FRB).

Drive process and policy improvements across BC, DR and IM functions.

Partner with senior stakeholders across Security, Tech, DR and BC teams.

Manage audits, regulatory reviews, and contract negotiations.

Lead and develop a small team of IM / Resilience experts.
Skills & Experience
-
10+ years’ experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, or operational resilience – ideally within financial services.

Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, OCC, FINRA, FRB).

Certified professional (ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, MBCI or similar).

Excellent influencing, stakeholder & project management skills.
-
Background in finance, risk, or emergency management preferred.
