This is a fully onsite role based in Barrow-in-Furness, offering you the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and make a real impact every day.

What you’ll be doing
  • Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timeframes, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Support project delivery by working alongside internal and external Project Managers
  • Complete NSR (Non-Standard Requests) activities to defined SLAs
  • Provide outstanding customer support, handling queries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across workplace services and user experience
What you’ll bring
  • Essential: Strong subject matter expertise in VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Windows (Windows 10/7), including build, configuration, and registry settings
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SCCM (OS deployment, application deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting)
  • Understanding of scripting technologies (PowerShell, VBScript, batch files)
  • Knowledge of security practices including BitLocker, NTFS permissions, and shared folder security
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook configuration, and collaboration tools (e.g. Skype for Business)
  • Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
  • Excellent customer handling and communication skills
Desirable: Broader automation exposure, enhanced scripting capability, or deeper infrastructure knowledge
