As a PMO Specialist, you won't just be tracking tasks; you’ll be a driving force behind a sophisticated Change Portfolio. You will work within a department that values curiosity and collaboration, ensuring strategic goals are met through expert governance and actionable insights.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the backbone of the Change Management Office, providing the structure and assurance needed for high-stakes projects to succeed.
- Governance & Standards: Maintain and enhance Change Management controls, frameworks, and methodologies while providing essential training and assurance to the project community.
- Project Support & Risk Management: Act as a subject matter expert for PMO processes, identifying and mitigating risks and monitoring project progress against key governance milestones.
- Reporting & MI: Deliver a "single source of truth" by monitoring budgets, resources, and slippage, translating complex data into insights for senior executive decision-making.
- Tool Administration: Manage and optimise project management tools to improve data quality, user experience, and overall reporting functionality
What You Bring to the Team
You are a confident team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of your results.
- Sector Expertise: At least five years of practical experience in a PMO or project professional role, specifically within the Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Essential intermediate Excel skills and a high level of comfort utilising AI tools where appropriate to drive efficiency.
- Communication & Drive: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and maintain a positive, proactive attitude under pressure.
- Desirables: Basic Power BI skills are preferred, and experience supporting a PMO Manager with high-priority actions is highly valued.
