This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a new regulated, business-critical digital service. The programme encompasses the design, build, testing, transition and operational readiness of a complex platform, with clearly defined contractual deliverables and formal stage-gate governance. The project is already underway with agreed milestones and budget, and you will be responsible for ensuring delivery remains within these defined boundaries.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of a complex digital platform, covering application and platform design and build, cloud hosting, security and compliance
  • Oversee structured testing, assurance, service transition and operational handover
  • Ensure Early Life Support (ELS) and BAU readiness are effectively planned and delivered
  • Define and manage scope, objectives, timelines, governance and success metrics in line with contractual commitments
  • Own project plans, RAID logs, budgets, forecasts and resource allocation
  • Drive Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe), facilitating ceremonies and promoting continuous improvement
  • Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritisation
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and formal change control processes
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, vendors and third parties
  • Provide clear reporting and executive-level updates, ensuring stage-gate and governance requirements are met
  • Lead cross-functional teams across development, analysis, testing, security and infrastructure
  What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience managing IT projects
  • Strong experience delivering software development and infrastructure projects
  • Experience delivering within regulated or contractually governed environments (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience leading Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and MS Project
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and coaching skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability, with experience delivering to agreed budgets and milestones
  • Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in digital transformation, complex platform delivery or system implementation projects
  • Relevant certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile (PMP/PRINCE2 desirable)
  • Vendor management experience (desirable)
