Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and unite your team - breaking silos, building collaboration, coaching skills, setting goals, and creating an engaging environment.
- Make decisions, empower members, support the Data Centre Manager, and drive proactive improvements (e.g., tool evolution like Zabbix/Grafana).
- Oversee third-line support, system/infrastructure development, platform stability, and translate stakeholder needs into agile solutions.
Key Skills & Requirements
- 3-5 years leading technical teams + 5+ years IT (extensive Linux admin across Debian/CentOS/RHEL flavours).
- Agile/DevOps experience; tools like Ansible, Puppet, Zabbix (FAI/Slurm ideal); ITIL Foundation.
- Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and a broader data centre vision to lead effectively.
- Desirable: OpenStack, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Docker, scripting, cloud/virtualisation, hardware (storage/CPU/GPU).
