Test Environment Engineer – Salary / Rate - TBC
Long term contract

An opportunity for a Contract Automation Test Engineer has arisen to work for a prestigious organisation based in Dubai. The Environment Engineer will be responsible Working within the Technology QA team, and collaborating with teams across IT to facilitate and develop on-demand test data generation capabilities. Working alongside Software Engineering and DevOps teams to enable continuous Integration as well as continuous improvements to the process and environment, they play a major role in supporting and enabling teams to improve time to market and ensuring better quality, by ensuring the provision of test data generation to support on going changes. The Test Environment Engineer works with Feature Teams, Quality Engineers to deliver test data management solutions.

• Hands-on experience working on Test Data management tools and experience setting up test data generation capabilities from ground-up
• Hands-on software development experience on Java/J2EE, Linux, SQL, No-SQL technologies
• Working knowledge of Test Automation tools/technologies and Infrastructure as a Code
• Good knowledge of open source mocking tools and frameworks like wiremock, mockito, jmockit, etc.
• Good knowledge of service virtualization tools such as CA Service Virtualization, Parasoft Virtualize
• Working knowledge of test data management tools like CA TDM, IBM Optim, etc. is beneficial
• Good knowledge of Relational and No-SQL Databases
• Good understanding of Architecture, including Microservices Architecture, SOA and cloud hosted large scale systems
• Experience working with large cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.) like AWS, Azure…etc.
• Understanding of firewalls, SSL certification, authentication, authorization, Single Sign On etc.
• Proven track record working in Agile and Waterfall projects
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery
• Good understanding of data privacy and security. Knowledge of security/data standards and policies (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.)
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills
