Technical Product Manager
(Archive)

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this leading global provider of cloud-based solutions to the global financial sector, we have been asked to assist in the hire of one of two areas / roles on the Archive product team for consideration: Both backend and Scaling.
Already benefitting from a dominance in the North American finance industry, our client is expanding it is London operations to better serve the UK and EU markets. This is an exciting time to join, and you will have the option to work from predominantly from home or within their state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in London.
Core Requirements
• Degree in engineering, science, computer science, management, or related technical field
• 5 years of experience as a Technical Program/Product Manager or Product Owner in a full stack or backend environment (Java and open source)
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
Desirables:
• Experience with Message queueing, encryption, distributed storage, or search / indexing
• Scaling application logic for improved throughput, performance, reliability, and resilience


Role Overview:
The TPM will own the product backlog for their area, and work with various Tech Leads, Architects, and Business stakeholders to plan, execute and deliver their features. They will also attend daily stand-ups, groom their team’s backlog, plan sprints, accept completed stories, monitor progress, report status, and be involved in key release activities including documentation and training.
