Job description

Software Tester

Software House
Cambridge / Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)

We have been retained as a trusted recruitment partner for an established software company providing services into the energy and utilities sector and are currently recruiting for a Software Test Engineer to join them on a permanent basis working on a hybrid basis 1 day per week on average in the Cambridge office.

Skills
• Experience of testing commercial software and the wider testing life cycle.
• A sound grasp of the theory of testing.
• Experience of automated testing tools with a good understanding of what they are useful for and what they are not useful for.
• Experience of configuring and maintaining test environments.
• A strong interest in understanding the business needs of the customers and users of the software you test.
• You do not need to have any sector specific experience.
• Experience of facilitating usability testing would be beneficial.


Salary: £45-£55k + benefits and bonus
