Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our client’s highly skilled team specializing in agile custom software development and integration at an enterprise scale. This is a technical role with a focus on hands-on delivery, designing and developing innovative software solutions for clients.
Most of the work can be done remotely, however, due to the SC clearance requirement you would be expected to come in on-site occasionally as needed. Our client offers excellent potential for career growth, professional development, and a great personalized benefits package.
Duties:
• Work with a team of Agile developers, analysts and testers to support and deliver solutions for clients
• Shape solutions and define architecture
• Work on industry leading Digital / Cloud-based architectures in development today
• Use your wide range of skills such as an architect, technical lead, designer and developer on delivery engagements for clients with responsibility for the specification, development and leadership of implementation of complex multi-tier applications
• Enhance existing applications to meet customer’s needs
• Provide technical support for transition of the application into live service support
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of Java and core open-source technologies and frameworks
• Experience of the core XP practices of TDD, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration
• Experience one or more technology stacks (e.g. Spring)
• Websphere (or alternative JEE App servers)
• Bitbucket / GitHub / GitLab
