Network Support Engineer
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
to £80k base + Benefits Allowance + On-Call Allowance
WFH with Occasional Site Visits

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation for many years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Network Support Engineer to join on a 12-month FTC.

As part of a team of seven, you will work on projects relating to the second phase a large infrastructure transformation programme, of which will include a datacentre consolidation project. The role is predominantly remote work but will require some occasional site visits to datacentres in Surrey and East London, and offices in Southampton.

For this role, a skilled Network Engineer with excellent core Cisco Network Infrastructure experience alongside experience of Check Point and Palo Alto Firewalls is required. Additional experience with F5 Load Balancing and Pulse Remote Access will be beneficial.

After three months, there is a preference for the role holder to join the on-call rota which would see you go on-call one in every five weeks. An on-call allowance of £500 is given for each week on-call.

12 Month FTC Package: Alongside a competitive base salary up to £80k, you will be given a benefits allowance of 1.10% of base salary + £498pa. This can be taken as cash on top of your base or can be used to purchase core benefits including healthcare, life assurance and income protection. You will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, even as an FTC employee. Finally, after three months you can join the on-call rota and receive £500 for each week spent on-call (expected to be 1 in every 5 weeks).
