Lead UI Designer
Salary DOE + Benefits + Bonus
Mix of Home Working / London EMEA HQ
Permanent, Full Time

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this leading global provider of cloud-based solutions to the international financial sector, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Lead UI Designer.

The Lead UI Designer is responsible for overseeing, leading, and creating new components and patterns that are scalable, user-accessible, and meet the needs of customers. You will work with other UI and UX Designers to propose and get alignment on standards to be shared across teams and work in close collaboration with engineers to build and deliver high-quality user interfaces. The Lead UI Designer manages other UI Designers, providing guidance throughout the design process.

Skills / Experience
• 6+ Years in Visual/UI Design for Web, Desktop and Mobile Applications
• 2+ Years Leading Designers, Projects and Managing Stakeholders
• Working with and contributing to design systems and component libraries
• Solid understanding of user-centred design best practices
• Atomic design principles (or similar)
• Responsive design and mobile design guidelines
• Accessibility best practices and approaches
• Design Tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Able to take ownership and solve problems creatively
• Able to multitask and keep organised within a dynamic environment
• Beneficial: Motion Design, Enterprise Business Environments, Agile Methodology
