Graduate IT Assistant – circa £25k base
IT Finance/Trading
Central London

Graduating in 2019 or have graduated in the past 2 years? Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree?

We are looking to recruit an ambitious recent graduate to join an established trading company based in the London Metal Exchange. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the financial services industry. Sitting and working closely with the traders you will be tasked with managing your own workloads and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage expectations of others, giving achievable timescales for the completion of requests.

The ideal applicant will show an excellent aptitude to learning in order to keep abreast of new and emerging technologies as well as show good, hands-on experience in a Query Language such as SQL or T-SQL.
This role may involve the use of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and C#, but previous hands-on experience is purely desirable, proving that the role offers great potential for learning.

The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining and monitoring fault reports, systems security, and change requests as well as the ability to review and maintain in-house systems. The company are looking to develop their internal IT systems and offer the latest technologies and systems. This is a high-pressure environment, but also very rewarding.

A base salary of circa £25k +25 days’ holiday + life x4 + further bens.
