Job description

Contract Business Analyst (Flight Operations) – AED 20K-28K per month + healthcare
Long term contract

A well-established Airline organisation based in Dubai are looking to recruit a number of Business Analyst specialising in Airline operations (Revenue/inventory or Flight management systems (PSS)), the role will be working alongside various other BA’s (Both permanent and contractors) working on various large-scale projects, which we have been quoted to be around Three to Five years in length.

Key Experience
• Experience in Revenue Planning and Portfolio Management of products and services for business including an end to end product lifecycle management. In addition, exposure to Airline Schedules, Availability, Pricing & Route Planning, PSS.
• Experience in Market Research & Analysis and developing proposals for new products, service and revenue streams.
• Proven experience in applying statistical techniques, developing predictive models across business verticals. Data Mining experience using supervised and unsupervised methods. Knowledge of using Machine Learning Algorithms for developing advanced analytics solutions.
• A proven track record in solution design for IT projects

Key Responsibilities
• Understand the business strategy and work with the relationship managers to develop initiatives and present them to decision makers within the customer business unit.
• Solicit and evaluate business requests to determine cost feasibility research and identify options and recommend solutions that best serve business needs across the enterprise.
• Oversee the analysis done by Business Analysts as they capture and document business objectives and functional requirements and translate them into requirements and solution definition documents as per QMS for system solutions in a comprehensive, meaningful and well-structured manner. This includes ensuring that the proposed business solution will deliver the expected benefits. Ensure that the end product aligns with business strategy.
• Oversee the production of the logical systems design (detailing business information flow/process) for a proposed solution. This includes detailed business use cases, system use cases, entity relationship modelling, function hierarchy diagramming and process modelling, function to entity mapping and attributing the entities etc. as appropriate to the methodology being used.
