Microsoft Azure Data engineer
£70-100k (Depending on Experience) + Benefits
UK Based - Remote
Permanent, Full Time
We are looking for strong Azure Data Engineers who are passionate about Microsoft technology and who ideally have skills in many of the following areas:
What you will be doing:
• Build and deliver Azure data engineering solutions
• Stakeholder and client management
• Deliver modern data products
• Work effectively on client sites
• Design and build data pipelines and data streams using Microsoft tools
• Use Microsoft Data focused Reference Architecture
• Design and build data service APIs
What you’ll bring:
Skills needed
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience with ETL tools, Databricks, SQL, SSAS & T-SQL
• Working experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, CI/CD etc.)
• Good understanding of Lambda architecture patterns
• Good understanding of Data Governance, including Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools and processes
• Influencing and supporting project delivery through involvement in project/sprint planning and QA
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Experience on collaboration tools such as JIRA, Kanban Board, Confluence etc
