As a managing solution architect, you will have responsibility for leading a team of architects and overall ownership of the solutions they develop, including their governance as they move through delivery phases. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for work allocation, resource planning, recruiting, capability development, performance management as well as meeting several financial KPIs.
Here are some of the key activities of the role:
• Take ownership of the client requirements, deliverables and accountabilities to ensure adherence to Architecture Governance processes, industry best practices and to maintain consistency with the clients’ Architecture vision
• Drive the solution development and documentation of solution designs ensuring good architectural practices are observed through the lifecycle of the solution development
• Take accountability for both the functional and operational quality of the solutions designed and delivered under your watch
• Improve solution innovation and value for money
• Provide oversight of architectural direction for and on behalf of our clients
• Take ownership of the solutions and be the face off to our internal and external senior stakeholders
• Develop excellent working relationships with our clients to become their trusted advisors through boldness and honesty
• Be able to work confidently with senior members of the client organisation and within the team and to be able to be robust with stakeholders
• Relationship management of the technical relationships with vendors, third parties and the wider company
• Ensure solution delivery is performed according to agreed specification
• Own technical problem management and resolution relevant to the solution development

The Service Design and Introduction Manager will work within the service integration tower, responsible for ensuring the requirements of operations are represented throughout the project lifecycle and that the projects deliverables are therefore supportable and robust following implementation into the production environment.
Our client is leading a transformation of their customer’s move to the new digital technology and support, which you will play a big part in by coordinating activities to ensure the technology teams receive effective handovers from Project managers and their teams to Operational Support Departments.

The role will largely be working from home but flexibility is required to work on site as required.
Responsibilities include:
• Review Service Impact Assessment and ensure the deliverables are in alignment with contractual obligations.
• Design and document the Service ensuring it is fit for purpose for Service Operations and SLA’s
• Reviewing processes and procedures ensuring they are fit for Service.
