Donating to Guide Dogs
This year (2010) we thought it would be really nice if we linked our charity donations to productivity here. For every CV we submit to a recruiting client during 2010 we will be donating between 50 pence and £1 in support of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, registered charity number 209617 (England and Wales) and SC038979 (Scotland). If you work with us on a sole agency basis, we will donate £1 for every candidate CV we send you. If we work with you on a multiagency basis we will donate 50 pence for every candidate CV we send you. We have assisted The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association for a number of years with their IT departmental recruitment needs as a supplier. Guide Dogs was founded in 1931, and is a charity that receives no government funding for the guide dogs service. The guide dog service is entirely dependent on voluntary donations. They are a world leader in breeding and training guide dogs and are a co-founder of the International Guide Dog Federation. The charity employs 1000 professional staff in the UK supported by 10,000 volunteers, including puppy walkers, brood-stock holders, dog boarders and thousands of local fundraisers.
