25% placement fee reduction for IT remote working placements
We are not wishing to especially jump on the ‘green’ band-wagon, but like everyone we recognize that the less CO2 that is collectively released into the atmosphere is a good thing. As all of us commute into work each day we increasingly all witness that our roads are becoming more congested as each year passes. Many companies are making it easier for some job roles to be carried out either entirely or partially from home and advances in information technology will help us all move to a more greener economy. If you have an IT role to fill (either permanent or contract) and can allow the role holder to carry out 80% of the role from their home we will reduce our modest placement fee by a further 25%.
At Deerfoot, some staff members have the facility to work partially from home (although talking honestly we could do better here!). 50% of our internal staff live within 4 miles of our office and no staff member has a car commute of greater than 10 miles. More than 10% of our staff commute by public transport. We also pay to have all of our waste recycled by a specialist recycling firm. We aim to be ISO14001 accredited by the year end.
