A stable organisation within the Utilities sector is looking for capable software developer with robust C#.net and javascript development skills for a c3 month contract to develop a mobile app for android devices. This is a very prestigious project within the organisation and the application will be used on a day to day basis and will change the way the company addresses its work load.
The successful candidate will require full understanding of android mobile app development and how that interacts with a SQL server database.
Key skills experience:
• C#.net
• building mobile applications for Android devices
• JavaScript coding
• Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases
• Visual basic programming
• HTML coding
The above skills are essential but any knowledge of the following technologies will be beneficial but not essential:
asp.NET, AJAX, WCF, Xml, Webservices, MVC, Object Orientated Programming (OOP), jQuery, CSS, XSLT, SQL, T-SQL, TDD Visual Basic, Novell Netware Basic, , UI Design, Photoshop Design, UMBRACO, Telerik, (Site Finity) Visual Sourcesafe, Subversion (SVN)
This contract is initially offered for 3 months but there is a possibility of extension beyond this period depending on the forward work load.
