Business Analyst – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – circa. £60k - £75k + bens (tax free) – Banking, Treasury, capital Markets.

Our client who are a significant member of the Middle Eastern banking community. We have been asked to assist in the hire of a Business Analyst to act as a Treasury functional expert covering all aspects of Treasury products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Capital Markets, Derivatives and structures products and will serve as the Treasury SME.
This position is responsible for a full range of activities that ensure best utilization of common banking Treasury processes using current and future Treasury systems.
The ideal candidate should have exposure and practical experience in treasury organizational structure and operating model, treasury related business processes (Credit risk, MIS reporting etc), knowledgeable in Treasury finance, accounting and reporting and general understanding of the banking structure and products etc. This individual must have experience with Treasury and Risk systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, and prior experience.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Business Requirements and Functional Requirements
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Work independently with users to define concepts as well as resolve system issues.
• Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Work with users to determine requirements for new features/ functions including web sites/ user interfaces.
